Book Time With Me

“The universe doesn’t give you what you ask for with your thoughts - it gives you what you demand with your actions.”

― Steve Maraboli

Ask yourself this honestly. Everyone has a plan in mind of where they would like their life to go, what they would like their life to be like, what they would like to accomplish, what success looks like for them - but often times their actions are not congruent with their plans.

You want to lose weight, but you never eat healthy or go to the gym.

You want to make more money, but you don't put in extra hours or develop yourself outside of work.

You want to start your own business but haven't read any books on entrepreneurship or joined any start-ups club.

You want to be a better presenter, but you don't take any courses on public speaking.

I am just as guilty of this as anyone. It is tough to muster the energy at the end of the day to work even harder. But if you don't, what separates you from everyone else?

Most people wake up late, go to work and by the time they get home, they're too tired to do anything more than watch TV. If a majority of people in the world are doing that, how are you getting ahead?

The hours before and after your occupational commitment are vital! That is the time you can use for your own personal development. That is how you achieve your goals. That is how you become better.

So, ask yourself today. Are my actions at war with my plans? Don't just talk about it. Do it. Stop pretending that you want something if you aren't willing to put in the action required to achieve it.

Always Think, Never Settle.
